And then you start looking for evidence to support it. This is kind of exactly how not to write a research paper. If you wanted to try and reconcile interviews talking about the impression of male discrimination with that research holding the prevailing view and try to see how it is that these opposing ideas have spread simultaneously across American culture, I think you'll arrive at something more academic, more useful, more interesting to read, etc. It's much better than scouring the internet for sources that you already agree with. As it is now, you just feel like pissing off your professor. This is rich, because you (or your parents) are paying for that class, and if you were just going to screw around you could have saved some money or taken something else. --- Whatever happened to standards?
