Ideaologies are irrelevant only if you assume the ends do not justify the means. Your refusal to understand the argument means your argument cannot be taken seriously either.

From a philosophical standpoint, at what point is someone justified to extinguish life to protect another life? If one life threatens the very existence of the other, are you justified in taking it, in self defense? If the answer is yes, then you've applied Thanos's logic to an entire race, only in his opinion the existence of half the species threatens the other half, and he's applied this at RANDOM rather than targeting someone by class, race, religion, etc. He would then leave these people alone, to live in peace and, supposedly, utopian society.

Hitler, on the other hand, believed race was the root cause of mankind's issues, BUT also believed that it was the master race's destiny to rule as a unified state. Restoring these lands and forcibly taking them for this race, and ruling as the master species.

To say that BIAS is the only thing that separates them because their means are the same is ludicrous, because their ENDS are completely different. Not only that, Thanos's methods were seemingly as humane and painless as possible. He would rather these people cease to exist than cause pain in death. Hitler tortured and butchered people.
