| Topic | crazy how much I hate rap now, considering it used to be the only genre I liked |
| GhettoFlip 05/04/18 2:36:03 AM #1: | Before sophomore year of high school, I didn't listen to anything but hip hop. I was a regular on several hip hop message boards (including the one here). Nowadays when asked my opinion on rap, I don't even bother to qualify my statement with "I hate modern rap but I like (insert artists I used to listen to) like I used to. I just say "I hate rap" What's weird is that a lot of people, even if they aren't primarily rap listeners, enjoy plenty of modern rap songs and artists.
