What a shitty story. Find them guilty, put a bullet in the back of both of their heads.

Why would you have them killed? They made a mistake that unfortunately cost someone's life. They still deserve an opportunity for rehabilitation. Who knows what they could accomplish after some treatment.

What is wrong with you? There's a reason the death penalty, along with life without parole exist. These people are monsters and don't even feel the slightest bit of remorse.

Unless they have done this multiple times, we don't know that they are without remorse. Everyone deserves a second chance.

The victim probably does too.

It would have been better if this situation never happened, but how does anyone benefit from killing the accused here?

Preventing them from killing again, for one. Also, the death penalty discourages some otherwise would-be criminals from breaking the law.
