So I picked up a baseball anime called One Outs. Not the kind of thing I usually watch, as I'm not a real big sports guy. But after 3 episodes I'm hooked. They mixed in one of my favorite anime genres, Gambling. Premise is, we have this pitcher. He isn't the fastest thrower or anything like that. But he uses mind games to play with the batters head. A pro scouts him, and brings him in, but the owner thinks he's garbage and doesn't really want him. So they negotiate a strange contract. For every out he gets, they pay him 5 million yen. But for every run he gives, he pays the owner 50 million yen. The odds aren't in his favor at all.

I dig this premise, I'm a sucker for gambling stuff, and I greatly enjoyed the first few episodes.
