I just checked a porn website where over 300,000 videos on the site were labeled "BDSM." When you cite a 2005 poll that says 2/3rds of Americans do not engage in the act, you destroyed your own credibility. It is not a common thing. It is a big fetish. But, fetishes by nature are not common things. Wait, ignoring the argument for a second, you think 1/3 of the entire population fitting into a category makes that category uncommon? Of course it does. Common means common. 1/3rd is not common. Common refers to prevalence. It is more prevalent to not be done than to be done.
