Ocelot prior to the first torture session originally contained a bit in which Ocelot describes the origin of electric torture in France, which can be heard at voice file vc131011. This version of the conversation went unused and was replaced with an edited version (voice file vc131013) that omitted said portion in order to safeguard French people. However, it cuts the dialogue at an unnatural point, with Snake responding to Ocelot "But I've never heard that before" for no reason. In the European version, the now unnecessary line was muted instead.
That has always bugged me!
I never noticed this on the MGS1 page, this also always bugged me. ---
