| Topic | Never watched the Hairy Potter movies, should I watch them? |
| prince_leo 05/09/18 9:16:25 PM #22: | they're not good movies but they're still fun to watch the first two are the most accurate to the book, but the children suck at acting and are largely carried by the adults the third film is the best and the children can actually stay in character for longer scenes (seriously, watch the first two and look at how many cuts there are) the fourth is probably the worst. it's one of the most info-dense books and it cuts out a lot. also all the kids have Beatles haircuts and it has one of the worst depictions of Dumbledore in an infamous scene five through eight are consistent, all of them have the same director and the main trio are all adults now (actors, not characters). it's much darker in comparison to the rest and it has some odd design choices all in all they're not terrible, but they're not amazing --- ...
