TopicSo, how are the Yakuza games?

I own 4, 5, 0, Kiwami and 6. I have beaten all of those games (I also own the spin-off Dead Souls but never beat it. It's not that good).
It's one of my favorite series.

Kiwami is actually an okay place to start as it's a remake of Yakuza 1. But it does have some draw backs. The sub stories are a bit more series and not as wacky as later entries. It uses the same fighting system from 0, but it's different than the systems in previous games a bit so if you like it, just know that going forward.

Yakuza is pretty well known for rather serious plot, but all the side content is over the top and playful.

I love the series myself. I just spent 60 hours on Yakuza 6. But I also did a lot of side content and got the platinum on 6 (easiest yakuza platinum to date though).
