| MawiIe 05/15/18 2:58:08 PM #36: | The reason the black and white's were great games was because it felt like there were actually stakes to what you were doing. Instead of a bumbling team that you just beat up whenever you met, team plasma was a presence in Unova, Ghetsis and the Sages never even viewed you as a threat, and the game didn't artlessly throw you against them because that way the plasma organization seemed more out of your reach, when N battled you, it wasn't with a set team, it was usually with pokemon he had just met, so you got the feeling you never really had a true fight against him. S/M are the opposites, basically everyone on the islands is your friend, including the villains, and there's just such a friendship theme through the whole game that it's hard to feel like there's any point to the story. I'm not really complaining about Sun and Moon, because a game centered around Hawaii really SHOULD be about friendliness and kindness, I just do hope they bring back a little bit of sting to the story. --- SantaRPG: Turning "i"s into "l"s since 2008! https://imgur.com/c9koh ...
