Also levels. It doesn't show pokemon levels anywhere. Why not, if they're meant to be known?

Cause niantic doesnt want people obsessing over IVs

In the game meta though almost all pokemons most important stat will be their attack. So generally a 14/8/8 will be far more useful than a 10/15/15

The only exceptions are the few pokemon that are good gym defenders like Blissey/Chansey/Snorlax/Slaking
