Topic	Bohemian Rhapsody (Freddie Mercury biopic) Trailer, starring Rami Malek

He left/was fired because he disagreed with the direction of the film. The band wants to depict Freddie dying halfway through the movie and the latter part of the movie to show how they carried on without him. Cohen wanted the entire movie to focus on Freddie. I agree with Cohen, because Queen really didn't do much of anything after Freddie's death. Most of my interest went away after Cohen left, because he was the best choice for Freddie. Not only that but he wanted to show the gritty aspects of Mercury's life like the drugs and sex. The other band members wanted to paint a pretty picture and sweep all that other stuff under the rug.
