Quality of life around the globe has been increasing as time passes and the world's population grows. Driving animals to extinction to expand our living areas is some made up mumbo jumbo. We need billions more kids. Lets kill all the lions and start building on the Serengeti

You seem to think we need to do those things if the population increases at all. You also seem to think that those things won't happen if the population doesn't increase or hell, even decreases. This is what we call a non sequitur and it's when your argument against something does not logically follow what is being discussed.
