It's also known now that one of the victims, 15 y/o Shana Fisher publicly humiliated Dimitrios after he incessantly bugged her to go out with him for months but finally the week before the shooting, she told him No in front of the whole class...that may have been a motive to why he went on his rampage as well. Getting rejected or humiliated in a school setting is nothing new. What changed in society that would cause some students to snap compared to maybe 10, 20, 30, 40, 50+ years ago? I guess depending on who you ask, some might say the kids of the current generations are "softer" than how it was before but at the same time I feel one could say that about any generation when compared to an older one. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo!
