Eh, it is very unlikely TLJ had much to do with the box office. Simply put, Solo was too soon, a week after a huge hit in Deadpool 2, it didn't have much marketing time (less than three months), it had a ton of bad news during production, launching in a not great weekend for Disney recently, with reviews worse than the last three. It's pretty good and audience reception has been positive so we'll see how it holds. If it had been delayed to December, this might be a very different story.

Now, if Episode IX underperforms, you may have a point. I don't think it will though, especially with 19 months of no Star Wars to build up hype.
