I think the one where Batman visits Superman at the Fortress of Solitude only for the two of them to meet a bunch of penis-shaped aliens who copulate in front of them before they died is worse/weirder.

On-topic, articles about inhuman murderers are usually a fascinating read, in the 'captivation by horror' sense. Cases like John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer are usually more well-known, so I'll suggest someone comparatively obscure(in the US), who was also a Nazi and liked to do his stuff large-scale:
