A person brings up a legitimate criticism of the hypocrisy of a major corporation, and they're just crying. A woman rants for 30 minutes on YouTube about mansplaining and she's fighting a noble crusade against Patriarchal oppression.

Yesterday I made the argument that Roseanne while being stupid for posting that tweet was no reason to cancel the show. The only counterargument was that ABC didn't want to pay and promote a racist. How long exactly is the waiting period if your only argument now is that Jimmy Kimmel did that 20 years ago? And why is it whatever arbitrary designation of time you assign to it or anyone else assigns to it?
What degree of racism deserves to be forgiven given an arbitrary time passage? Who is to determine that, and why?
