I know it's stupid, since people here could help others in troubled times, but the mods job is to care about the site first and not the person. They basically block the persons account and tell them "go get help"

I don't think it's stupid, because while some might help the suicidal poster, there are always others who would antagonize them and exacerbate the situation, possibly pushing them to harm themselves. I think blocking them and communicating directly with them to ask them to seek professional help is the right thing to do. Try to protect them from the shittier posters out there.

Hope Koga is doing well. I like him as a poster.
