Calling chicken tikka masala British is like calling burritos American. The geographical location of a dish's origin doesn't change the ethnic origins of it. Sure it was created in England. By an Indian chef using traditionally Indian ingredients in a traditionally Indian cuisine style of cooking.

Not to fucking mention just throwing a catch-all net over all curries is ignorant AF too. The difference between Indian curries, Thai curries, Japanese curries, etc... is insanely vast. It's like saying "cookies are French".

So no, curry doesn't count as British food lol.
