Abuse sucks but people are still expected to stand up and affirm their rights.
And sometimes people just don't understand those rights. You're faced with someone whom you view as an authority figure, right or wrong, the possibility of getting arrested looms, they're already making a scene and you don't want to make that scene worse...There are a multitude of reasons who someone in this situation would just want to get it over with. She should not be blamed or "expected" to do anything. The security are 100% in the wrong and she is 0% in the wrong. Its that simple.
I agree with you that she is at 0% fault, but you can still advocate that she should know her rights and properly assert them. It's possible this could have been prevented if she properly asserted herself. Granted, the security team here sounds like a bunch of incompetent buffoons who probably didn't realize how unbelievably stupid they were being. It's very possible she could do everything right and these idiots still would have been dumb as rocks in their handling of this.
I honestly believe that she could press actual criminal charges on them. IDK why she isn't tbh. ---
