| Sahuagin 06/07/18 11:36:31 PM #41: | I'll never know for sure. Some games like Diablo and its clones maybe don't count since they're designed to be played through repeatedly. Some games maybe don't count since you can load your save at the end, beat it, and watch the ending, over and over. I think in terms of starting a brand new game and playing all the way to the very end, these are probably the most, though some of the much much shorter games below might technically surpass them in total number of playthroughs. Descent 1 (includes source ports) Baldur's Gate 1 (includes BG:EE) Dark Souls games Games from my childhood: Fantasy Zone (countless) Mega Man 2 (countless) Starfox (countless, but not in a long long time) Batman (NES) (a lot, but not in a VERY long time) FF3 (6j) (a lot, but some are loading specifically to fight last boss) SMW (same) (once played through and *96ed entire game in one sitting) (really, probably some huge ass list of SNES games that I'm forgetting. Zelda 3, Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, Contra 3, DKC games, etc.etc.) Other games I've played through more times than I can count (which means at least 5 times, but some may be 10+): Doom 1 TES games Factorio Borderlands 2 Civilization 2 MOO2 Deus Ex System Shock 2 SimCity 2 and 3 --- ...
