here's the deal with hobbies: don't get a hobby just for the sake of getting a hobby (or in hopes you'll find a significant other in that hobby).
find something you're really passionate about, have the patience for, and stick with it. now i'm not saying it has to be like "omg i do [hobby] 7 hours a day i loooooooveeee it!!!!! ^.^"
but i'm saying it just has to feel good doing it. you could do it 30 minutes a day, 8 hours a day, however much you feel like it. all that matters is that you like doing it when you choose to do it.
your hobby could frustrate you at times, you could burn out for a few weeks. and that's okay, it happens. if you got enjoyment out of it overall, you'll eventually come back to it on your own. if not, then maybe try something else.
you might have to try a few different hobbies (that you're interested in) before you really know which one you like, though.
Guy speaks the truth. I woodwork in my garage on my spare time, and it takes me sometimes a month to design/build/finish something. ---
