I'm going to tell you a story about the way that eggcorn's threats are hurtful and hateful and should not be tolerated at any institution supposedly dedicated to the free exchange of ideas. But first, let me pose you a question: Is eggcorn actually concerned about any of us or does he just want to shatter other people's lives and dreams? After reading this letter, you'll clearly find it's the latter.
eggcorn's detractors are correct in their observation that most of eggcorn's expostulations are slanted in the same ideological fashion, with large amounts of emotional exaggeration and general ignorance. Now take that to the next level: Mass anxiety is the equivalent of steroids for eggcorn. If we feel helpless, eggcorn is energized and ramps up his efforts to unfurl the inane flag of serfism. Does he really know anything about the prophecies he claims to support? No, he doesn't.
Even as I write those words I can feel eggcorn cringe. That's okay. Cringe. I don't care because he has boasted publicly that he intends to taunt, deride, and generally vilipend his corrivals. It's one thing for such toxic ideas to be conceived in the clandestine meeting places of international terror organizations but quite another for them to be promoted as eggcorn has, out in the open. This development lends credence to my claim that eggcorn is morally weak. I use that label only when it's true. If you don't believe it is, then consider that if eggcorn is victorious in his quest to clear-cut ancient forest lands, then his crown will be the funeral wreath of humanity. Now that I've said all that I planned to say, you can agree with me or disagree with me. We can have honest differences. But please remember this parting thought: eggcorn has a massive superiority complex.
