Not only that, but he does that while frequently talking about eating bar food and drinking excessive amounts of heavy beers. His attempts at superiority are constantly undercut by an air of hypocrisy that makes him even more unlikable.

He defends this with a philosophy of "Well, it's my life, I can have my vices." And that can be an acceptable philosophy if the vices aren't too bad! But then he goes and acts like only his vices are the correct choices, everyone else is doing it wrong.

I never drink heavy beers, so why would I talk about that. See, inventing things. I also only eat at bars I know cook from scratch. Just because I'm eating at a bar doesn't mean it's Taco Bell quality crap. It's almost like you don't know some bars serve quality foods or what a rural area is.
