I have a 65" TV and 5.1 speakers. What's the point of going to theaters when you have your own home theater? Public theaters have overpriced food, idiots talking during the movie, children crying, etc. I can avoid all that by just watching movies on my own home theater. The only real advantage of a public theater is getting to see the movie months before it is released on home media, but even that advantage is diminishing as the home media release is typically only about 3 months after the theatrical release nowadays.
