Secret Mage is good against Warlock and I think it should be pretty good against Kingsbane Rogue unless they get a huge lifesteal immediately. That deck got more popular after someone made a post on the main subreddit to whine about it so that's my wild guess. oh that actually makes a bit of sense. I remember Kripp making a video a while back when he first started playing Wild and he said it was more diverse at the lower ranks (which I definitely found to be true) while the higher ranked meta tends to be more volatile (starts anywhere from like 15 to 10, which is about where I am now). so now that I'm remembering all this it actually does make sense that these secret mages came out of seemingly nowhere. basically you would think that the wild format would be more 'settled' but since there are less players and less resources available, the smallest thing can lead to huge shifts in the meta. like if a popular streamer plays a certain deck with a high winrate, lots of people will copy it. I suppose someone complaining about secret mage being too powerful could cause even MORE people to play it (because they want to BE powerful) --- ~* Now I only see your dull imposter ~* https://imgur.com/tdhOSKc ...
