Stop creating characters based on what might sell toys (Jar Jar), but also based on expanding diversity (Rose). I'm all for genuine diversity, but characters like Rose are clearly board room decisions, not writer's room decisions. 4. Some subtle political allegory is good. Over the top, beat you over the head with obvious leftist propaganda is obnoxious and sure to displease. And I say that as someone who supports some leftist ideology. 5.
