You are the one who isn't thinking hard enough. Sometimes you never think at all with all the idiotic posting you do. Exactly how do you know the spinoff is going to be a crappier version? It very well could be better. Unless you're a psychic who can see the future, you don't know. There have been numerous spinoffs that have been highly successful.

You don't understand risk at all. There is much less risk involved with making a spinoff of an already successful show than making a brand new show. I'm sorry, NMB, but you're uneducated, so you shouldn't be trying to talk about how business works when you have absolutely no clue how business works.

Who said the show is going to pretend Roseanne never existed? They can still acknowledge her. Heck, the pilot acknowledged Jerry... (aka the baby born in the last few seasons that probably very few people even remember)
