How about the story? Is it intimidating for first timer? No, or at least I didn't think so. The most complicated bits involve an ancient but extinct race that had advanced magic/tech, the gods of the world, and reincarnation. There is a lot of dialogue text to read, but nothing as esoteric as, say, the Xenogears or Xenosaga games. You shouldn't have to do any supplemental reading to get it, if you pay attention. Okay. Just watched first couple hours of the gameplay. I think I'll doing just fine. By the way, I have Skullgirls key lying around.
