| LapisLazuli 06/24/18 10:24:22 AM #79: | Things like Easy Allies always come across as fake, they don't have the air of complete honesty you get from GB. Even watching EA's E3 stuff from this year alone, you could point out several moments where the EA crew was doing things like disengenuous cheering and nudging people to act more excited for the camera, it's a big feeling of "we have to act hype because that's our job and it's what people expect". If you don't dig smash that Direct was a nightmare, and the most confusing thing to me is people who think GB was crazy for being anti-hype. I think this was Nintendo's worst showing in years, and a lot of that is the complete lack of even a namedrop for SEVERAL announced titles, magnified by 20 minutes of Smash details that really should have had their own, Smash focused direct, like they have done many times in the past. --- ...
