| Lightning Strikes 06/24/18 11:48:57 AM #85: | I generally don't like tarring entire fandoms with sweeping generalisations, though I would point you to many Sony fans' reactions to Giant Bomb's coverage of E3 2015 and 2016. Nintendo fans haven't bombarded their E3 videos with dislikes like those did. The latter in particular was striking because the show was pretty typical. You can go back further if you want and look at hardcore fans of the original Xbox, which they've discussed on the podcast. Every fandom is crappy. However I don't think there is any objective metric by which you can say Nintendo fans have worse reactions to their coverage than Sony fans have, in fact the opposite has been true. Also there is a difference between disagreeing with their commentary and getting mad about it. I disagree with some of Jeff and Dan's (and LtM's) statements about the broader context of their lineup but whatever man, it's no big deal. --- I just decided to change this sig.
