I literally just told you what. The game's difficulty lies pretty much solely in it's control scheme. Take that away and you have a stupidly simple action game. It is not like REMake where you can make the game a little simpler while still maintaining a lot of what made the original games challenging. It would make the games a complete cake walk. And like I said before, a game with tank controls is not going to have enough mainstream appeal to even warrant a remake/remaster. Best you could hope for is if the games show up on Playstation Now.
Once again, so what? I'm playing the game for its story, not its difficulty. ---
