Or did you forget about the areas where you would take on an entire army? Having hundreds of enemies to kill at once does not make a game a hack and slash. Needing to have twitch reflexes and fast reaction times does, which is not what Onimusha requires. Onimusha is about carefully planning out your moves and studying enemy patterns to determine the best course of action. In other words, it is more Dark Souls then Bayonetta. --- I am a senior software engineer.
