unlimited pto doesn't sound real

it's probably got some stipulations but a lot of startups have it

Presumably the main stipulation is "you need to actually get your work done," which I think is pretty reasonable. I can't say I've ever really understood having specific rules about time off or what you're allowed to do at work for office jobs like that. Does it really matter if somebody spends half their day snapchatting if they still get all of the day's work done?

I agree. I don't have any problem keeping my queue in line at my job now. In fact I do such a good job that I don't have enough work so I always get asked to help in other people's queues on my team and on other teams in my own demand pool states and other demand pool states just to keep me busy. So if the volume at this job is higher I may actually not dick around on here for half the day while doing four peoples' work.

I hate micromanagement. If I'm hitting all the metrics you want me to hit and I'm helping other people why do you care what I'm doing?

My issue is that I feel I'm not being compensated properly and I'm being undervalued for the work I'm doing so I'm not eager to go back. A new company may not be better but I'll never know sitting at the desk I have now.
