And similarly, I'm for legalisation but also have no intent to use it. I personally am put off by stuff that like...alters you, I'm really put off by it. Moreso than I probably should be even.

But what it comes down to to me is...it's not really illegal because it's bad. Does it have no potential dangers/drawbacks? Absolutely not, but, lots of things are horribly bad for you but aren't illegal to use. It's illegal not because of the bad things, but because people WANT it. But the justification for it being illegal is often that you know, drugs are bad, and dangerous, and ruin your life. But if that were true...throwing people in jail, making them not able to get jobs, giving them a criminal record, I mean that WILL absolutely ruin a life. So what sense does that make? "We have to protect you from ruining your life with this drug, so for using it as punishment we'll ruin your life!!!"

And honestly, between beer, weed, cigarettes, I'd rather be around someone stoned than drunk or smoking cigarettes, or god forbid, cigars. I don't understand how anyone can smell a cigar and be like, "yeah, I want that in my body"
