Topic	Why is pork the cheapest cut of meat?

However, chicken and pork are going to be cheaper than beef because beef is more expensive to raise. I wonder if that's just a regional thing. I'm in Alberta, beef country, and pork/beef are pretty close to the same price with pork being slightly cheaper... but chicken is the MOST expensive (excluding premium cuts of course) --- "Salt cures Everything!"
