14 is pretty limit, but probably not pedophilia at this point. By the time the girl is 16, it's 100% OK to sleep with her. So would he wait approximately 2 years to sleep with her? Maybe, again, depends on the type of person that he is and everything.

My question would rather be, if he chooses to sleep with the oldest: after 4 years on the island would he ALSO sleep with the youngest who's now 16 on the side?

I'm mostly focusing on the fact that a majority of society would immediately assume he DID sleep with one (or both) of the girls just because he's a guy.

Without any further details about their stay on the island. Before even seeing his picture or learning about his past. Simply having a random person pick up a newspaper....and see the headline "Man And Teenage Girls Survive On Island For 5 Years" and immediately think in the back of their mind...."Yeah, I bet he slept with those girls."

In a world without so much sexism and hostility towards men......a rational human's first instinct should be, "Wow! What an incredible story! I'm glad they survived! I wonder how they managed!? It must have been difficult!"

But I think now we live in a time where it's just "I want to see a picture of this creep's face. I wonder if he made the plane crash intentionally so he could get them alone."
