Exactly. People, especially the media, assume everyone's a sexual tyrannosaurus, even in the face of tragedy and life-or-death situations. Because they can't just see a situation for what it is. They need to make it clickbaity. And what better way than to sexualize it?

We'd probably get "Teens trapped on island with man. Sex slaves?"
