Topic	Do you know any useful skills?

I have a tendency to only bother learning or getting good at stuff that I will actually use on a regular basis. So other than cooking, there's not much. If shit ever hits the fan in a major way those that have general/practical skills that can be used for survival will manage just fine I think. I put general handyman along with my actual licensed electrician just because some things bleed over. Most, not all, things can be fixed by troubleshooting. However, knowing when you're beyond your skills or knowing when a pro is needed is equally valuable. It never hurts to learn, but know when to pick up the phone. Edit: Mostly dead boards in sig, but I keep an eye on them.
