her peers coming out in support of her suggests she could have done what she did at several companies and maybe gotten a talking to or her company reinforcing its employee policy regarding employee interaction with people on social media (see: what happened to Jemele Hill of ESPN, even though they acted like cowards, it's still better than this)

it's her bad luck she worked for a company that capitulated to butthurt gamerbros crying about some feminist double standards, but the reaction from the industry suggests she'll be alright


How many lifetime warnings does one need for being grossly unprofessional? She should just continue to be openly hostile to whoever she wants, and she needs warnings beforehand? Imagine if your doctor talked down to you like that because you refused a vaccine and she felt slighted by your attempt to tell her how to do her job.
