I generally just message the girl her own name, not kidding. It works almost without fail

for example if a girls name is becca, my opener is "beccaaaa" something like that. It lets em know whats up, but in a way that doesn't require an immediate response and takes the pressure off you for a clever opener. I generally always get a "hahaha hey whatsup?"
