I remember it started on Earth and then went to Cybertron... The Earth they were on in Beast Wars was about 4 million years ago. When they returned to Cybertron, they were traveling to their present day. Megatron was literally tied to their ship but broke free and I guess got ahead of them. They came out of hyperspace seconds later but I guess was many years after Megatron got there since a few seconds by their time was many years since they were traveling through time.
