Bringing back something I posted yesterday, I don't understand how ANYONE could be ok with a one-on-one Trump-Putin meeting.

Even if you 100% believed nothing untoward happened during the campaign/election, is the president of the US meeting with the president of Russia not an official act of state, occurring in those roles? There should be verifiable official records and there should be press access.

It seems incredibly unlikely that their meeting would be purely personal, and they were not going to discuss anything relating to policy, governance, etc, and even if that were the case, the conflict of interests (real or apparent) seems unprecedented given ongoing investigations and the findings of others conducted thus far.
