Did you see him being a dick at Sindri? it is pretty telling that the storm happened to form right when Atreus was throwing a fit.

I know, but the game itself contradicts him and/or supports my sizeshifting theory. True,they're all dead save for the World Serpent but all the Giants we see were huge. And even those murals you could come across, they were bigger than the other creatures.

As mimir states, myth is often romanticised, atreus says giants are just a race, which is why the giant's mines were made for human sized use.

Thamur was indeed gigantic and mimir states as such when talking about the Thamur shrine.

The mom/Kratos's wife marked those areas beforehand because she was a Giant who could foresee future events.

She marked the specific trees for the pyre too because she knew the forst would lose the magic barrier protection which is why immediately after the pyre Baldur arrives, she set th whole thing in motion, I really was wondering if she knew her marked trees would break the barrier and why she would do something that puts her husband and kid in danger, we find out at the very end.
