Apparently the improvements they have made are fantastic. I'll give it a shot since it comes out on the XBox next week. I played it when it first came out for the PS4 and enjoyed it. I didn't go in with such lofty expectations though. Excited to see what it's like now.

Basically, that's how I felt. The people crying and shitting themselves over it were insane to think it would be a revolution, anyway. Equally at fault was the company's failure to get a decent hype man who could at least twist the words with some ambiguity instead of just blatantly saying 'yes!' to everything.

What we got was an alright space exploration game with some cool atmospheric effects and some neat ideas that really, really needed some fleshing out. Really, that could be said about most sandboxes (Minecraft, Terraria), it's just that we've been a bit jaded by how much those games have been fleshed out over the years. Had the game come out in 2011, it probably would have had a massive cult following.

I figured that time would make the game amazing, but I lost track of it around when they added new vehicles. What has been added since?
