This simply isn't true, but back to the main question of the topic.

Political correctness is just a very politically correct sounding name for the same "civility" people are bemoaning the death of now. All political correctness ever meant was trying not to call people by whatever terms they found most offensive, and striving to be respectful and inclusive instead.

Why it made some people so resentful that they were asked not to use all the most offensive terms for minorities, \_()_/
