The point of it is to tell people being an incel is bad. It's more specifically critical about modern western society's masculine construction and how toxic and destructive it is for the people who strive to achieve it and the people who have to deal with their collateral damage. It's also about our everyman protagonist coming to terms with the fact that he hates himself and is unable to self validate because he cannot embody the masculine ideal he idolizes. Worst still, he's deeply closeted.
