Anyway, 6, 7 and Tactics are also 'widely regarded' as the greatest FF, depending on who you ask (if you were asking me, I'm a diehard 6 fan, and whether or not you recognize my screenname is a prime indicator of how long you've been with the series). Incidentally, I don't dislike 9, I actually love it, even if it never took me to the emotional heights that other entries did (with the exception of the Assault of the Silver Dragons scene). Anyway, I debated whether or not to throw in that line in my original post, and even though it was fun getting in a few triggers, I shouldn't have made it because it will clearly derail the topic: this board in particular is hyper sensitive when you criticize 9. Which is kind of why I've built up a little bit of disdain for the subject; 9 is one of those technically-sound games where there's not a lot to rip into, which is why I think so many internet types have gravitated towards it: the fewer the obvious flaws, the less they have to defend their love of the game against others. Try loving 10 and then having to deal with the inevitable dipshit posting the Tidus Laughing clip every time. --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. ...
