I'm gonna go with: Halo (It kickstarted Microsoft as a console/game developer) World of Warcraft (First MMO to 10 million active players) Counter-Strike 1.6 (Probably the first "e-sport" with massive cash prices esp. in Europe) Starcraft: Brood War (The perfectioning of the RTS genre and the first actual e-sport in Asia) The Witcher (Storytelling and characterization taken to new limits.
