The game does eveything a lot of those games back in the day did, in the gameplay AND story structure...but that can be a turn off because it hasn't aged well for some people, even the ones who grew up with them. I dunno - I was looking forward to the retro aspect of it. But everything felt the same - same basic village, same basic dungeon, same game flow for each character, same level design, same battles, etc etc Got very boring and repetitive. --- ...
